Ashcroft Urgent and Primary Care Centre (UPCC)

Clinic Information

• The UPCC is for patients who require medical attention within 12 – 24 hours but are not emergent.

   

  Providing team-based care for non-emergency health concerns to individuals in Ashcroft.

   

  • If you have an urgent health-care need and are planning to visit the UPCC, we encourage you to first call the site at 250-453-2211 and talk to one of our registered nurses, who will ask about your healthcare concern and advise you on the next steps, whether that’s visiting the UPCC or accessing alternate services.

   

  • Walk-in availability is limited and prioritized by urgency. There is no guarantee you will be seen by a physician/nurse practitioner. If you are not able to be seen that day, an appointment will be booked for you at a future date or you will be directed to alternate services as appropriate.

   

  • You will be assessed by a registered nurse upon arriving at the UPCC

   

  Offering same-day care for concerns such as:

  • minor injuries
  • sprains and strains
  • less serious child illness and injury
  • infections
  • cuts, wounds or skin conditions

   

  For life-threatening illnesses or injuries call 9-1-1 or go the emergency department to be assessed and treated immediately.
