Kamloops South Shore Urgent Primary Care and Learning Centre (UPCLC)

The Kamloops South Shore Urgent and Primary Care Centre (UPCLC) provides team-based care for non-emergency health concerns to individuals in Kamloops who require same-day attention.

If you have a health emergency that requires immediate care, call 911 or present at the nearest emergency department.

Care is available for concerns such as:

• Minor injuries
• Sprains and strains
• Infections
• Less serious child illness and injury
• High fever
• Cuts, wounds or skin conditions

If you do not have a family doctor or nurse practitioner, or you are unable to get an appointment with your care provider that day, you can visit the UPCLC. A health-care team is available to provide care for your health issues.

You may see one or more of the following health professionals depending on your care needs:

• Family physician
• Nurse practitioner
• Registered nurse
• Social worker
• Physiotherapist
• Mental health and substance use clinicians

People must book an appointment to be seen at the Kamloops South Shore UPCLC as it is does not accept walk-ins. Call 250-314-2256 to speak with  off staff before being booked for an appointment.
