    • KB Access offers virtual & in-person primary care as needed and by appointment to patients in the Kootenay Boundary region who don’t have a family doctor or nurse practitioner. Virtual visits are available to patients across Kootenay Boundary while in-person visits are available in Nelson and Castlegar. In-person appointment patients will receive clinic location details in their confirmation email.

       

      Please Note: The KB Access Clinic is NOT a walk-in clinic; you must book an appointment to see the family practitioner on shift that day to address your health concern.

       

      Kootenay Boundary residents who don’t currently have a family doctor or nurse practitioner are encouraged to sign up with the Health Connect Registry at kbhcr.ca to be connected with a family practitioner when one becomes available. You can continue to access primary care as needed through the KB Access Clinic while you await connection to a permanent primary healthcare provider.
