Prince George Urgent and Primary Care Centre (UPCC)

Clinic Information

• The Prince George UPCC is for patients who require medical attention within 12 – 24 hours but are not emergent.

   

  Offering same-day care for concerns such as:

  • Minor injuries
  • Sprains and strains
  • Infections
  • Less serious child illness and injury
  • High fever
  • Asthma attacks
  • Cuts, wounds or skin conditions

   

  You should always try to contact your family doctor or nurse practitioner first to see if you can get an appointment.

   

  The PG UPCC is not an emergency room and cannot treat patients with serious illnesses or injuries such as broken bones, chest pain or head injuries. If you have a serious condition that requires immediate care, visit the UHNBC emergency room or call 9-1-1.
