Located in east Richmond, the Shellbridge Family Health Clinic provides comprehensive and coordinated primary care services for registered patients close to where they live. Patients at the clinic are matched with a family doctor or nurse practitioner who is the main person they can talk to about their health and coordinates their care with other health providers at the family health clinic and in the community. Registered nurses and social workers are available at Shellbridge to collaborate with your primary healthcare provider to deliver essential care and support to all registered patients, including prenatal care up to the third trimester – at which point you will be transferred to an appropriate practitioner of your choice.
Family Health Clinics offer comprehensive primary care services for patients throughout their lifetime. This includes physical, mental and social well-being, emphasizing proactive and preventative care. For more information on family health clinics, and how to access these services, please click HERE.
