The Williams Lake Urgent and Primary Care Centre (UPCC) provides both in-person and virtual primary care for individuals needing medical attention within 12 to 24 hours, without requiring emergency department services. The UPCC offers team-based care for health concerns such as sprains, cuts, fevers, and minor infections. Serving Williams Lake and surrounding communities.
If you have a health emergency that requires immediate care, call 911 or present at the nearest emergency department.
Care is available for concerns such as:
- Minor injuries
- Sprains and strains
- Infections
- Less serious child illness and injury
- Fever
- Cuts, wounds, or skin conditions
If you do not have a family healthcare provider, or you are unable to get an appointment with your care provider that day, you can visit the UPCC. A healthcare team is available, virtually or in-person to provide care for your health issues. You may see one or more of the following health professionals depending on your care needs:
- Medical Office Assistants (MOA)
- Primary Care Providers:
- Family Physicians
- Nurse Practitioners
- Registered Nurses (RN)
- Indigenous Patient Navigators (IPN)
- Physiotherapist (PT)
- Social Work (SW)
